SNOW ALERT

November 26th, 2019
Starts at 8:00 am, ends the following day at 12:00 pm

ATTENTION: SNOW ALERT, Please (dis)LIKE and SHARE

The City of Harrisburg is issuing a Snow Alert effective 8 am Tuesday (11/26/19) to 12 noon Wednesday (11/27/19). The City will work to keep the Snow Routes open throughout the duration of the snow event and will plow every street, curb-to-curb once the snow and wind subside Wednesday morning. We are hopeful to be done by 12 noon Wednesday but may extend the Snow Alert because of the strong winds.

Please remove all vehicles and trailers from City streets. Parking is not permitted on City streets during Snow Alerts, vehicles may be ticketed at any time during a Snow Alert.

Depositing snow on the road after it has been cleared is not permitted.

It is important to remember that Snow Alerts automatically continue if curb-to-curb is not complete or if winds continue to deposit snow on the road.

We are currently predicted to receive up to 5.5 inches of snow, sustained winds of 20+ mph, and wind gusts up to 39 mph. Roads in and around Harrisburg may be very difficult to travel please plan accordingly.

Thank YOU for your patience, stay warm, and stay safe...
