CELEBRATE ARBOR DAY WITH US!
Even though the weather isn't going to cooperate we are still planning to hold our Arbor Day event inside! A little rain can't stop us from having fun!
Harrisburg residents are cordially invited by the City Park Board to attend the City’s fourth annual Arbor Day Celebration at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 27, 2019 at Liberty Elementary School (200 E. Willow Street) in the commons area. This event will include activities for kids and a free lunch certificate from Harrisburgers.
Compost will be be closed tonight due to the wet conditions. We will be open on Saturday for the annual clean up day. Dumpsters will be available from 8:00 am - 11:00 am

Attention: Hydrant Flushing - Southeast Harrisburg
During the next two weeks city crews will be flushing hydrants in southeast Harrisburg to ensure they are in proper working condition for fire protection and to remove any mineral deposits that may have accumulated in the water mains.
Residents should be advised that the change in water flow patterns resulting from hydrant flushing may stir up mineral deposits in home services.During hydrant flushing, it is not uncommon for residents to periodically experience discolored water, pressure change and/or an increased chlorine odor.
