With growing concern of the COVID-19, the City of Harrisburg encourages social distancing to avoid the spread of the virus. If you would like to exercise your right to vote and do so with an absentee ballot, please complete the application, Absentee Ballot Application including boxes 1,2,3,4,5 and 7. In box 4 please check ‘municipal’ and for box 7, please sign and either have signature notarized OR you could make a copy of your driver’s license. Please return the application and attachments to the Lincoln County Auditor at 104 N Main Street Suite 110, Canton, SD 57013-1703. You may also put the items in an envelope and drop in the drop box outside of City Hall or mail back to the City of Harrisburg, PO Box 26, Harrisburg, SD 57032. Once the application is received, we will mail you the ballot with instructions on how to return to us before election day of April 13th, 2021.
