Holiday light contests are a joyful way to showcase your community spirit while brightening the festive season. Gather your Santas, sleds, reindeer, wreaths, and lights, and let the holiday cheer shine throughout Harrisburg!
2025 Holiday Lighting Contest Nomination/Registration Form
Rules:
No fee for entry into the contest.
Nominations must be homes/streets within the boundaries of Harrisburg city limits.
Only decorations visible from the roadway will be subject to judging.
Nominations & Registration:
You may register/nominate your own home/street, a neighbor's home or another neighborhood street by filling out the form above. Registration/nominations begins November 1, 2025, and ends November 30, 2025.
Categories & Prizes:
Prizes will be awarded in three categories: "Best Street", "Boards Choice", and "Best Residence." Thank you to our local business supporting us with gifts and gift cards!
Judging & Voting:
Voting opens Monday, December 1st and goes thru Sunday, December 14th at midnight. You may select one address for each category
Watch our social media (and here) for a map of listed entries. Then take a cruise with the family or a date night to see all the great entries! To submit your vote for the best display, simply fill out the voter form.
Participants should ensure that all lights, animations and decorations are in place and activated for the judging period.
Winners will be announced on Monday, December 15th.

BEST STREET: Awarded to the street that receives the most votes.
BOARDS CHOICE: Awarded to the residence chosen by the Parks Board members.
BEST RESIDENCE: Awarded to a residence that receives the most votes.
