The main attraction at Lake Alvin is water recreation, making it a favored destination for swimmers, boaters, and anglers. You can locate the lake just four miles east of town, one mile north off County Road 135.

Good Earth State Park currently offers approximately two miles of untouched trails that meander through sunny grasslands and deeply shaded forest ravines across 615 acres. The park boasts a rich diversity of bird species, along with stunning and dramatic vistas. Open year-round, Good Earth State Park invites everyone to come and enjoy its natural beauty.
